Laurene Overlan
Experience:
Laurene began working in a salon at the age of fifteen in her hometown of Melrose. In 1991, she attended Newbury College where she graduated with an Associates Degree in business management. In 1995, Laurene pursued her career on Newbury Street and began working at The Salon at 10 Newbury where she stayed for nearly ten years. She spent eight years raising her family and working as a freelance stylist for select clients as well as working at various on-location weddings. Laurene joined Marisa and her team in 2010.

Philosophy:
I enjoy every day in the salon. I get a certain feeling from a client and I am immediately inspired to enhance their look leaving my guest feeling their personal best. I believe that hair is the most important accessory and should be treated as such. I am always inspired by runway fashion as well as the red carpet and pop culture. I strive to bring something special to each and every guest.
Cancellation Policy:
A 24 hour notice is required for all cancellations. A $100 cancellation fee will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is provided. 100% of the service booked will be billed in the event of a no show with no call. Appointments made same day are subject to the same guidelines.
