Booking an Appointment

To book an appointment, you may book online at any time or you can call our receptionist during normal business hours and someone will be able to assist you. A credit card is required to secure all appointments.

Booking online

We offer online booking for existing clients only. You will need to first obtain a client ID# and password in order to access the online booking system. Please contact us at info@stilistiboston.com for your information.

Online booking procedures
  1. Once you have logged in select "Book Appointment".
  2. Choose the type of service you desire. Always schedule color first.
  3. All haircuts include a blow-dry and all color services give the option to choose a haircut or just a blow-dry.
  4. Choose your stylist.
  5. Choose the date/time you desire.
  6. Click "Find Available Appointments".
  7. Choose from the available appointments and click "Book".
  8. You may request additional services in the text box before clicking the “book" button. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guaranty the additional services will be available at the requested time.

Late Arrivals

We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. If you miss more than half of your appointment your stylist reserves the right to start their next client. If a later appointment is available you will be offered that time. If you are unable to take the time offered it will be considered a late cancellation and you will be charged the cancellation fee. If you know that you are going to be late, we kindly ask that you call ahead so that we can better assess the situation.

Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours is required for all cancellations in order to avoid the $100.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations cannot be made online. They must be made by speaking with a receptionist, leaving a message on the salon voicemail or emailing us at info@stilistiboston.com.

Payment For Services and Products

Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Check and Cash are accepted.
Please note that there is a $50 bounced check fee.

Refunds

Stilisti does not extend refunds on services rendered. Your first visit and all color changes may require multiple services that day or within 2 weeks of the initial service as there is no way for us to know exactly how your hair will react to the process. If you are not pleased with your hair we welcome you to contact us immediately so that we can schedule a complementary alteration within one week of the service provided. Products may be exchanged with a receipt within 30 days. GHD styling irons and Solano blow dryers have a 2 year warranty with their companies; please register them on their websites.

Redos

We do not issue refunds on services provided. We will happily make any adjustments on services provided within the first 10 days free of charge with the original stylist. If you see a higher tier stylist there could be an additional fee based on their expertise. Any adjustments after the initial 10 days are subject to a fee.

Wedding & Special Events Off Premises

A deposit of 50% is required when making your appointment for all wedding day/special event services. Deposits are nonrefundable for appointments cancelled within 4 weeks of the event date. No show and late cancelled appointments will be billed the remaining 50% of the service booked. Please contact our Salon Coordinator, Reva, for further details and scheduling.

Salon Policies

Children At The Salon

This environment contains many factors that can be dangerous for children. In the event that you must bring your child into the salon, please keep your children seated with you at all times; no running, yelling, hanging from chairs, sofas, windows, etc. For the safety and comfort of everyone, children under 12 are discouraged unless they are receiving a service.

If your child is watching a video or playing a game we ask that they use headphones as not to disturb our other guests.

Pets

There are no pets allowed in the salon due to Massachusetts State Law. It is a Health Code Violation that we cannot overlook.

Meter Parking and Garages

If you are parked within a one-block radius and it is possible for one of our staff to step away, we will attempt to feed your meter. Onstreet parking is limited to 2 hours. Even if your meter is refilled you may still receive a ticket. Stilisti is not responsible for any parking tickets incurred when we provide this courtesy. If you would like to park at a nearby garage you may find coupons for select location shere.

Appointment Confirmations

As a courtesy, we provide a two-day in advance confirmation through text or email. If you do not receive a confirmation please check your file online or contact the salon. Stilisti is not responsible for incorrectly typed e-mails or phone numbers, e-mails or texts sent to spam folders or bounced from service providers. You are still responsible for late cancellations or not showing up for your appointment and you will be charged the cancellation fee.

Proper Attire

We ask that you disrobe from the waist up and change into the robe provided. Stilisti cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by hair color, etc.

Personal Items

We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged valuables.

Please Use Caution
  • Due to products and hair, floor may become slippery
  • Coffee and tea can be very hot

Cell Phones and Pagers

We require all ringers of cell phones and pagers to be silenced upon entering Stilisti and that necessary conversation be kept to a level that is respectful to our other guests.

Model Call

We are always looking for people to volunteer as models for our stylist training sessions, which enable our aspiring stylists to train to earn a position on our team. Our salon's educational directors supervise all cutting and color work. If you would like a complementary haircut as a model, please contact us when available, color sessions require a $30 fee. Due to our limited model hours and high demand we require 72 hour notice to cancel. If you do not show or cancel your appointment within the 72 hours you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee before you can book any further appointments.
